This year I got 4 plots of land. (2plots came as a gift from my partner company)
I want to stretch myself to purchase another 4 plots in 2024.
See, there is a lot of mindset and total personality SHIFT that happens to you when you acquire assets in your name. It elevates your life, confidence, thinking, Networth, and puts you in the God-class.
If you have properties in your name, you will relate better to this.
It’s about that time of the year when everyone is writing down goals for 2024. So steal my property acquisition strategy for free
On that note, here are my secrets on how i acquire properties every year as a realtor
INTENTIONALLY SET IT AS A GOAL
Write “Purchase Properties in my name” on your vision board or goals list.
You already know why. It could be Lands or houses. Depending on your financial capacity and needs.
This is usually the most capital-intensive goal for me every year, so as soon as 2024 kicks off, this is the first thing I’m channelling my finances to.
I made a mistake this year, I kept procrastinating my property purchase, and by August 2023, I was under a lot of unhealthy pressure.
You may also want to set a monthly reminder on your phone.
SET A TIME FRAME
It could be; January – March 2024, Or April – June 2024. Or any date that works for you.
There is no time pressure. You have 12 whole months. But I always advise you to start early.
📌 KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
Have a preferred State/location and know your purpose of purchase. Know what exactly you want to use the property for. This will help you choose the right location to invest in.
📌 HAVE A FEASIBLE BUDGET
Make a budget that works well with your income. Don’t attempt to purchase a property that is way above how much you earn annually
📌 BE OPEN-MINDED
Take your emotions off the table and be ready to embrace emerging locations. Also, be ready to increase your budget a bit where necessary.
📌 NEGOTIATE
The best real estate deals are negotiated. Don’t be afraid to open your mouth and negotiate a deal that favours you.
Not all property prices are static. You can negotiate discounts and favourable payment plans.
📌 USE INSTALMENT PAYMENT PLANS
If you keep waiting till you have all the money at hand, the property you want may get sold out, or even increase in price.
So check for available instalment plans that make payment easy for you, then start with your initial deposit.
